Job Description: Program Associate

Fair Housing Contact Service is a non-profit organization that strives to prevent and eliminate housing discrimination while promoting equal housing opportunity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Social Science field or Business degrees preferred
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience:
• A minimum of two years of experience in civil rights or fair housing field preferred
• Experience in public speaking and seminar planning

Technology Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in website maintenance and social media outlets
• Experience with on-line learning and research technologies

Communication/Interpersonal Skills:
• Multicultural competency
• Excellent oral, written, and listening skills
• Clear and open communication style
• Excellent time management and scheduling skills, with the ability multitask
• Must have superior accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical skills

Knowledge Areas:
• Data and statistical analysis
• Fair housing laws and regulations

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct outreach on agency, programs, and fair housing services
• Participate in and coordinating meetings with local groups
• Coordinate/Maintain partnerships with local fair housing group(s), local government, and FHAP agencies
• Coordinate, establish, schedule and present fair housing trainings
• Provide statistics on activities conducted to Program Manager
• Update and maintain agency social media sites and website
• Other duties as assigned
